Becoming a Patient
Begin by getting in touch with Vision Bariatrics, either online or by phone. A patient care coordinator will reach out as soon as possible to discuss your needs and goals. You'll then submit patient forms and a medical questionnaire, and if you're approved for surgery, we can have everything scheduled within two weeks.
Escort Service to Tijuana
Our campus in Tijuana is only 30 minutes from San Diego International Airport. A chauffeur will be available to collect you at the airport and escort you directly across the border to our doors. If you choose to drive yourself, our English-speaking staff will be on-call to provide any additional directions you need.
Preparing for Surgery
We'll give you time to get situated in our private hotel before your surgery. Patients are allowed to have a companion stay with them, free of charge. Have a look around the campus, relax in the sun in our private outdoor space, or ask any of our friendly client liaisons for recommendations on what to see and do in our resort-like area of Tijuana.
Day of Surgery
Your surgery will be performed by a highly experienced bariatric surgeon in a clean, quiet operating room within our on-campus hospital. Your comfort will be ensured beforehand, and our surgical team will be at your side for every step.
Recovering From Surgery
The first few days after your surgery can be spent in relaxation around our hotel and campus. Browse Netflix in your private room, have well-balanced meals in the dining room, or enjoy morning service at our chapel. During this time, you'll meet with a nutritionist and recovery expert as well.
Follow-Up Care
